Music Software Support

Remote and on-site technical support available for any music software

Audio Support is a small technical support and tuition company led by experienced music technology expert Paul Andrews. Operating since 2005 we can help you with any aspect of music or audio recording technology. Audio Support are experts in Digital Audio Workstations (DAW), plug-ins and hardware, offering remote technical support for music software.

Digital Audio Workstations

We are experts in the installation, setup and usage of any Digital Audio Workstation. The products we most commonly encounter are Logic Pro X (Apple), Cubase (Steinberg) and Pro Tools (Avid). We can also support other music software such as Ableton Live, Reason, Sibelius, Digital Performer, Studio One, Bandlab and FL Studio.

Plug-ins

As experienced music technology experts, we can help with the installation, licensing and setup of AU, VST or AAX format plugins. The plug-in developers we encounter most often are Native Instruments, Spitfire Audio, Universal Audio and Waves. We can help with any effects and mastering plugins, for example those made by FabFilter, Soundtoys or Izotope. We can also help with soft synths such as Roland Cloud, Nexus or Arturia. A common service we provide is helping our clients manage their sampler and rompler sample libraries. This is important when using large data libraries such as those used by Kontakt, Play, Engine and Sine.

Hardware

We also offer support for hardware products such as audio interfaces, mixing desks, hardware synths and effects units.

Audio interfaces manufacturers we commonly support include Focusrite, Universal Audio Apollo, Audient, Behringer, MOTU, RME, Roland, SSL, Steinberg and Yamaha. We can install the driver software needed to get these devices working within your DAW and configure them to reduce latency and get the best results from your equipment.

We can also help with audio, MIDI and USB connections needed to connect external synthesisers, drum machines and effects to your music system. Roland, Yamaha, Korg, Moog, Arturia, Novation, Behringer, Eventide, Waldorf, Lexicon and TC Electronic are typical manufacturers we work with, but we can support any hardware of any age from any company. We can support with licensing, firmware and setup and use of software editors.
