Hi Paul. I’m using Logic on a Mac as my DAW and have recently had problems with Native Instruments Komplete in that sounds / files cannot be opened / plug-ins not found. Can you help me? – ST
I recently received the above message from a client, and we arranged to connect for a remote support session.
Missing Native Instruments content is a common issue I encounter in my Audio Support work. Once I was connected to ST’s Mac via AnyDesk, I could see what had happened. ST had moved their Native Instruments Content Library to an external SSD, but at some point the SSD had been disconnected and Native Access had attempted to reinstall the sample libraries to its default content location.
- Checked installation paths in Native Access.
- Removed duplicate sample library folders
- Moved all NI samples to External disk
- Repaired links in Native Access
- Checked Native Instruments plug-ins now loading in Logic Pro without errors
This remote repair work took about 60 minutes and I charged my client a fee of $70 USD.
