OVER-THE-PHONE TUITION – LESSONS VIA SCREEN SHARING

This is a popular option for Live users who have specific questions about a particular aspect of Live. Zoho Assist, Skype and other remote desktop software provides an efficient and easy-to-use learning platform. You and your tutor can talk over the phone whilst using the remote desktop software to share your Live screen.

If you have a few questions about Live or your location makes onsite tuition impractical then phone tuition is the ideal option.

How it works:

Your Live tutor calls you back and sets up screen sharing
The technician talks you through the solution
You get back to enjoying your music

ONSITE TUITION – A TUTOR COMES TO YOU

Whatever your current level of Live experience our tutors have the expertise to help you make progress. For example we offer:

‘Getting Started’ tuition

Tailor-made sessions to help you make a flying start with Live. We’ll help you get everything set up correctly and go through the basics of the program. Then we’ll cover the specific skills you need to make the kind of music you’ve always wanted to.

‘Next Level’ tuition session

Ideal for existing Live users who want to learn something new. We’ll help you get to grips with any aspect of the program or music production in general. Common requests include mixing techniques, recording techniques, and using virtual instruments/effects to achieve specific sounds.

Your Live tutor travels to you

I am very pleased with the service Paul provided. It was easy to get in contact and make arrangements for some remote on-line help while social isolation is in place. Paul was friendly and professional and most importantly knowledgeable in... all aspects of Cubase. I’d had a break from using the program for several years and needed help in understanding and using the latest version. As part of the process I also had to update some obsolete hardware and needed Paul’s help in configuring it and making it work with Cubase. I was not disappointed! Paul was punctual with the initial call and it was quick and easy to set up the remote help whereby he could see my Cubase screen. It turned out there were a whole host of minor issues that needed attention and Paul dealt with them all with great expertise – lost files, configuration issues, program updates and changes etc – he quickly got to grips the problem, helping me understand the issue and then leading me through to a solution. Sometimes he did the necessary work himself or attended while I did it myself. Better for learning! There are not enough stars!! 5 is not adequate! What I thought would be an insurmountable problem was solved by careful and logical process and a detailed and thorough knowledge of Cubase! If there is a word or phrase which takes Thank... You to the highest level then let me know because I want to use it!
