Service // Audio Routing & Interface Setup

Get your interface, mixer and DAW working together.

No sound, no input, a mixer your DAW can’t see, or monitoring that doubles and delays — sorted in a remote session, on Mac or Windows.

What it is

Most studio problems aren’t broken equipment. They’re a driver, a setting or a routing choice sitting between your gear and your software. I connect to your computer over AnyDesk while we talk on WhatsApp, Zoom or Google Meet. You watch everything I do, and I explain it as I go.

I check the drivers and firmware, set up inputs, outputs and buffer size, route signals the way you actually work, and sort out monitoring so you hear yourself cleanly. Before we finish, I save the setup so it survives the next restart.

Most routing and interface problems are solved within a single one-hour session.

Who it’s for

Musicians, producers and composers with a home or project studio. Typical problems I fix:

  • The interface is connected but the DAW plays or records nothing
  • A USB mic or mixer isn’t recognised, or only records two channels
  • Routing a mixer, pedalboard or outboard gear in and out of the DAW
  • Hearing yourself twice, or late, when you record
  • Static, hum or noise that appeared after a change

I work with Logic Pro, Cubase, Pro Tools, Ableton Live, FL Studio, Reaper and Cakewalk, and with interfaces from Focusrite, Universal Audio, Audient, SSL and others.

This service covers setup and configuration. If a unit won’t power on, has physical damage or a failed component, it needs a repair workshop. For that I recommend Matt at Logarhythm, who handles the hardware repairs featured on this site. I don’t set up home hi-fi, TV or record-deck systems.
