How it works
Audio Support is one-to-one remote technical support for music studios, run by Paul Andrews from London since 2005.
I connect to your computer, find out what’s actually wrong, and fix it with you, usually within an hour. You stay on the call the whole time.
Who it’s for
Producers, composers, recording engineers, bands, podcasters and streamers whose setup has stopped working, or never quite worked. Clients are in the UK, the US and across Europe. If your music software or audio hardware is getting in the way of making music, this is for you.
What I fix
- DAWs Logic Pro, Pro Tools, Cubase, Ableton Live, FL Studio, Reaper and others.
- Audio interfaces Universal Audio Apollo, RME, Focusrite and others. Covers drivers, routing, latency, crackles and dropouts.
- Plugins & licences Native Instruments and Komplete Kontrol, iZotope, IK Multimedia, iLok, missing libraries and greyed-out plugins.
- MIDI & hardware Controllers, hardware synths, MIDI interfaces (e.g. iConnectivity), clock and sync problems.
- New computers Moving your whole studio to a new Mac or PC (see Studio Migration below).
- Streaming & podcast audio OBS and Streamlabs routing, echo, levels, and getting your interface working with them.
Note: I don’t do physical hardware repairs. If your gear needs a workshop, I’ll tell you and recommend someone good.
How a session works
Tell me what’s wrong
Use the enquiry form. You’ll get a reply straight away with what to expect, and I’ll follow up personally if I need to know more.
Book and pay online
Pick a time that suits you. The booking page shows times in your own time zone. Your slot is confirmed as soon as you book.
Install AnyDesk
It’s free, secure screen-sharing software, and you can disconnect at any time: audiosupport.co.uk/anydesk
I call you on WhatsApp
At the booked time, I call you and connect to your screen. We find the cause together, fix it, and I explain what went wrong so you can avoid it next time.
If something can’t be fixed remotely—for example, a faulty cable or a failing drive—I’ll explain why and tell you exactly what to do next. You’ll always come away knowing what’s going on with your system.

Studio migration
New Mac or PC? I’ll move your whole studio across: DAW, plugins, licences, sample libraries, templates and settings, so you’re back to work without losing anything.
- Small (up to around 10 plugins and libraries): 2 hours, £180
- Standard (around 10–30 plugins, a sample library or two): 3 hours, £270
- Large or complex (30+ plugins, big libraries, lots of iLok or hardware): book a free 15-minute call and I’ll quote
If it runs over, extra time is £90 an hour, and I’ll always check with you first.
Tip: Get in touch before you buy the new computer. I can tell you which model suits your plugins and interface, and which connections you’ll need.
When I’m available
Monday to Friday, 10:00–18:00 UK time. That’s 5am–1pm in New York and 2am–10am in Los Angeles.
If those hours don’t work for you, message me and I’ll try to fit you in early or late.
Why Audio Support
- 20+ years as a sound engineer, music technology teacher and troubleshooter, across every major DAW.
- I see the whole system, not just one manufacturer’s product. Problems often sit between software, interface, computer and cables.
- Calm, clear explanations. 17 years teaching music to children with special educational needs means clear guidance without technical jargon.
- Real people, real fixes. Read the case studies and reviews to see the problems I solve every week.
Questions
Do I need to be technical?
No. You need a computer, an internet connection and WhatsApp. I’ll guide you through everything else.
Is remote access safe?
Yes. AnyDesk only connects when you accept, you can see everything I do, and you can end the connection at any time. Read my remote access policy for details.
What if it takes longer than an hour?
Most problems are sorted in one session. If yours needs more time, I’ll tell you during the call and we’ll agree what to do. You’ll never be charged for time you didn’t agree to.
Can you help if I’m outside the UK?
Yes. Most of my sessions are remote, and many clients are in the US and Europe.
Do you do on-site visits?
Yes, in London, for setups that need hands-on work: wiring, multiple machines, or hardware integration. £300 for up to 6 hours, paid in advance.
